Ibiscus/karkadé🌺

Hibiscus Sabdariffa is the name of the flower that, when is dried up, becomes karkadé. It belongs to the Malvacee family and is originary from Abissinia, for this, it is also known as “tea of Abissinia”.

Karkadé is an excellent drink, rich in vitamin C, ideal for drinking during summer.

This drink isn’t just thirst-quenching, but it’s a real panacea! Beyond vitamin C, contain Iron, vitamin B6 and B 12, magnesium, calcium and  vitamin D, with beta carotenoid the picture is completed in a really healthy drink.

When we need a natural anti-inflammatory, to fight a cold to maintain a good cerebral health and keep immunitary defenses up, karkadé is good hot, in water infusion for about 8 minutes or is possible put it in a bottle of cold water waiting to see it become of an intense color red.

I like very much this flower, in fact at my parents home in Milan we had always on our balcony; the best are red or yellow with brilliant colors😀.

In Portugal, Algarve has very large plants of Ibiscus… This plants needs hot and light to grow well! I think is not the same specie to make karkadé but it’s healthy even just looking at it, elements of nature are miraculous.🌺

Quali strategie usi per mantenere la salute e il benessere?

Miglioro l’alimentazione, stando attento a quei cibi che sento, non mi fanno bene, faccio attività fisica così che il mio corpo si senta tonificato, esercito la mente, magari con una buona lettura o semplicemente rimanendo sempre attento , curioso a ciò che mi gira attorno e vivo il più possibile a contatto con la natura.

…ma la cosa più importante è ascoltare il proprio io, quello profondo, abbandonare le false convinzioni di quello che si vuole essere e abbandonarsi a quello che siamo.la salute e il benessere vengono prima di tutto da uno stato di felicità interiore.

Con uno stile di vita olistico, come promuoviamo in Olitime, il benessere e la conseguente salute é possibile mantenerli.
