Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

In my life, I made more than one hobby and I have had different interests. Friends, jobs, studies had sometimes a role in their develope and I have to say that, generally, they return.
Music, the passion for mountain, writing, painting, sky… Are just some of my activities, that when the time, age or situation, often also money, permits, I make again.
I have of my life a holistic vision; I think, I’m complete when I express myself in the way I want, if I feel the need, so using old activities too.
The whole of me, that I built from my birth, makes my personality and , when I cannot make something I’d like, I’m not happy…it’s like a piece of me that goes away.
Windsurf is an activity that I made many years ago and instead is gone.I liked much, because when I went to the seaside, I wanted make something of dynamic and this sport was good for me.
Than, growing, habits changed, and the circumstances pushed me away from this sport and the time, for this, made a change, losing my interest, differently from other things.

Your reflective journey through the evolution of your hobbies and interests speaks volumes about how our passions shape us and how they can change with the tides of life. It’s interesting to see how some activities, like windsurfing, may fall away due to changing circumstances, yet they remain a part of your holistic view of life and self-expression. This holistic approach to embracing various phases of interests and passions is quite inspiring. As you look back on these shifts, how do you integrate these experiences into your current identity, and do you find that reminiscing or revisiting these past hobbies brings a new perspective or inspiration to your present self?

Hi, Justin, each of us is predisposed to do some activities rather than others, often we discover this already as children, then as happened to me, with writing or sports like windsurfing; it wasn’t the time to develop them and life goes on and growing up, new ones are born, it’s natural. In the years I Change life style more once and some have reappeared, like the pleasure to write and others I had to let they go because I can’t do them now ( until ten years ago I leaved in Milan in a home, making jewels design and paintings, now I’m almost the whole year in motorhome and the spaces are limited). But, I need again to express myself, and so I used writing and I like much as one time ago. Then, an old saying goes ” learn the art and put it aside”… For me it’s so, I use my arts for new purposes, I know it is my wealth and when I want or I need can use these tools to redesign the present.😄👏
